Overview
Lakehouse Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. We collect very little data, and this policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how it is handled.
Contact Form
When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and message. This information is sent directly to us via Resend, a transactional email service, and delivered to our inbox at sean@lakehouse.net. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, share, or use your contact information for marketing purposes.
AI Chat Assistant
Our website features an AI chat assistant that answers questions about our services. Your messages are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic, via the Vercel AI Gateway) to generate a response. Conversations are ephemeral -- they exist only in your browser session and are not stored on our servers, and they are not used to train AI models. When you close the chat or navigate away, the conversation is gone.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects aggregated usage data such as page views, sessions, approximate geographic location, and device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses, and we do not use it for advertising. This data is processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. We also use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and collects only anonymous, aggregated metrics such as page views and performance data.
Cookies
This website uses cookies set by Google Analytics to measure site usage (for example, the _ga and _ga_*cookies, which distinguish unique visitors and sessions). We do not use cookies for advertising. You can disable or delete these cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or use your browser’s tracking-protection features. Disabling them will not affect your ability to use the site.
Third-Party Services
A few third-party services process limited data on our behalf: Resend delivers contact-form submissions to our email; Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics provide aggregated site analytics (see above); and our AI chat assistant sends your messages to Anthropic, via the Vercel AI Gateway, to generate responses. Each is governed by its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
Your Rights
Since we collect minimal data and do not maintain user accounts or profiles, there is very little personal data to manage. If you have submitted a contact form and would like us to delete your message from our inbox, please email us at sean@lakehouse.net and we will do so promptly.
